Life On Board The International Space Station. ISS

Are you a space enthusiast? Have you been wondering what goes on in the space craft, the living conditions of the astronauts in space. Here is a brief summary relating to recent mission to International space station (ISS) by a British astronaut.

British astronaut Tim Peake has expressed his joy and awe at joining the current crew on board the ISS. Major Peake, pictured left with thumbs up sign, now begins a six month mission and has got straight to work alongside his fellow crew members. He will face a variety of everyday challenges, from cooking meals in a cramped 18ft kitchen, washing with just a sponge and sleeping in a bag hooked to a wall, as detailed left.

Immediately after entering the station, the crew (from left to right Tim Kopra, Sergey Volkov, Yuri Malenchenko, Mikhail Kornienko, Tim Peake and Scott Kelly) spoke to their friends and family. Major Peake said: 'It was a beautiful launch. The first sunrise was spectacular'
