Malaysian Airline Took Off In Wrong Direction And Pilot Realized Eight Minutes Into Flight.

Malaysian Airline Pilot was left scratching his head on Christmas day when the flight was heading in the wrong direction. Flight which took off from Auckland Airport in Australia destined for Kuala Lumpur was heading south towards Melbourne.

The flight was heading south instead of the usual route north across Malaysia (pictured)

Pilot realized only eight minutes into the flight and contacted air traffic to see why the flight was not going in a direct path. He then steered the plane in the right direction towards the Malaysian Capital. Passengers were not told about the error.

Oh dear!...The staff who uploaded the electronic flight plan should have gone to specsavers !!!
