Emmanuel Adebayor, Former Tottenham striker has signed a contract with Crystal Palace until the end of the season, the club has confirmed.
Aston Villa and Watford were both interested in the 31-year-old but Alan Pardew has moved to ease his goalscoring worries heading into the back end of the season. Palace chairman Steve Parish took to Instagram to welcome his new addition and posted a picture of the duo and Pardew.

He said: 'Real pleasure to welcome @e_adebayor to #cpfc.' Palace's bright start to the season is beginning to derail as they struggle to find the back of the net and have now failed to win in their last six Premier League games.
Yohan Cabaye is the Eagles' top-scorer this season with five and Wickham, who cost £9 million in the summe, has scored just once. What Adebayor will bring is goals. The striker scored 18 in 59 appearances during his time at White Hart Lane but was not included in Mauricio Pochettino's 25-man Premier League squad.
The Togo international was unable to join another club until the January window after being registered as a Tottenham player. He has been keeping fit while searching for a club.
