20-year-old Nano, from Oslo, Norway claims she has been born with a genetic defect which makes her a cat trapped in a human body. Nano said she first realised she was a cat when she was 16 and doctors told her she has a 'genetic defect'. She claims to have 'heightened senses', and hisses at dogs and hates water.
"Sometimes I hiss when meeting dogs on the street."It’s only because of their behaviour and my instinct automatically reacts by hissing. "I was born in the wrong species."
Nano believes she will remain a cat for the rest of her life, even though her psychologist has told her she can grow out of it. When asked by the reporter if she has ever caught a mouse, she said she has tried and failed but spots things scurrying around at night.
Nano explains: "It's also obvious that I’m a cat when I start purring and meowing. "And walking around on four legs and stuff like that. "I also love to sleep in the sink and in the windowsill."
The video has clocked up over 255,000 views so far. Nano is seen crawling around on her hands and knees and purring. And she and her friend Svien, who also has a similar condition, meow and purr to one another.
One of the best things about being a cat trapped in a human's body is her heightened senses. Nano explained: "You can hear a lot better than regular people, and you can see much more, you focus on things that normal people can’t. "I can see a lot better in the dark than most people."
