A 51 year-old woman and her son say they are trying for a baby after falling in love, 30 years since she put him up for adoption. Kim West, and her son Ben Ford, 32, claim to have been in a relationship for two years and describe their sex life as "incredible and mind-blowing".
According to the New Day, Ben split with his wife Victoria, who he married in 2011, in order to be with his mum in a relationship they describe as 'Genetic Sexual Attraction'. Kim told the paper: "This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and meant to be together.
"I know people will say we're disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you're hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it. "It's a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from."
She described how she realised she fancied her own son when she started having "sexy dreams about him". They shared their first kiss over a bottle of champagne in a hotel. And soon after, Ben, realising he had fallen for his own mother, left his devastated wife Victoria to move to Michigan with his new love.
There, the couple spent time with other mother-and-son pairings, who helped them to understand their newly-found feelings. After reading stories about GSA couples online, Kim said she allowed herself to "fall in love" with the son she gave up when she was 19.
